SideQuest Espresso's journey began when Erik, our founder, first regularly consumed coffee when he joined the Army National Guard in 2018. Well, if you consider freeze-dried coffee packets in MREs "coffee".

During Basic Combat Training at Fort Benning, Erik found that mixing freeze-dried coffee, powdered coffee creamer, and a little bit of sugar into a little baggie made for a great sweet treat while staying up for fire guard (if you know, you know). Simply take a pinch of the powdered substance, pop it into your mouth, and savor the sweet, congealed goodness. 

Fast forward years later, and after many cups of actual coffee... a new SideQuest was born.
